OPERATORS OF WASTAWAY® ARUBA FACILITY RECEIVE TRAINING IN PREPARATION FOR JULY OPERATIONS

Aruba TrainingTraining began last week for five Arubans who will oversee the operations of the WastAway&#174 Aruba facility. Bouldin Corporation® is hosting the five workers at the new WastAway® Worldwide Training Center in Morrison, Tennessee for ten days. The intense training includes classroom and hands-on instruction.

The Aruban workers are bilingual in English and Papiamento, the native tongue of the island. The instruction is provided in a small conference room-style setting to maximize comprehension of the materials. The training covers all aspects of the process including environmental compliance, operations and repairs from manuals to the hands-on process floor. Each trainee benefits from the one-on-one guidance from as many as four different on-site instructors and small group dynamics that helps form a solid team.

David Britton, Director of Training for WastAway, says “This class of WastAway trainees are up to the task and have demonstrated the technical comprehension necessary to operate the facility efficiently.” By the time the Arubans graduate from training the machinery should be arriving on the island for assembly.

The WastAway® Aruba project is on-schedule for operations in July 2009.
